The Hatzenbichler Tine Weeder is the highest performing tine weeder on the market.
One of the major differences between Hatzenbichler’s Tine Weeders and any other tine weeder on the market is the hydraulic down pressure on each individual tine section. This ensures that no matter what your field may offer for dips and rolling hills, as shown in the video, you’re still getting 100% weeding action from your tine weeder. Watch the video below for more details.
Advantages of Hatzenbichler Tine Weeder Video
The single biggest advantage that a Hatzenbichler Tine Weeder has over any other tine weeder on the market is the parallel linkage and hydraulic down pressure on individual tine sections.
In the photo to the right, you’ll see that we’re tine weeding in a field with hills and uneven ground. In competitor models, the tine weeder would not be as effective, as the individual tines may have more or less pressure on the ground.

A major convenience with a modern tine weeder, like the Hatzenbichler, is being able to adjust your tine angle on the fly from your cab. The oil pressure on the tine angle is the same to each cylinder, meaning it is not in an open system and the angle is maintained across the the whole unit. The hydraulic down pressure and parallel linkage compensate for the contours in the field.
(2-disk storage) guarantees perfect adaptation. By the gyroscopic effect of the tines triple coiling is a full-surface machining. The protected spring turn prevent pinching off the tips of the plants.
Hatzenbichler has 48 tines per 5′ basket spaced 1.5″ apart, vs 60 tines spaced 1″ apart on the Einbock. We have found that allows for more trash flow, while still maintaining full soil disturbance.
The Frame can flex with the field contours, in addition to the hydraulic down pressure.
Officially known as the Hatzenbichler Agro Technik, “Original Harrow”, Hatzenbichler offers several models of tine weeders. Most recently, they’ve released an upgraded tine weeder model known as the “Original Harrow Air Flow”.
